PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition containing a radical-curable resin suitable for finishing materials for building materials in a construction field, etc., by virtue of an enough reduction in an amount of formaldehyde emission and in an amount of emission of highly volatile polymerizable monomers such as styrene, and full suppression of sanitary problems due to emission of chemical substances. SOLUTION: This radical-curable resin composition comprises a radical-curable resin having a (meth)acryloyl group and an acetoacetyl group as essential ingredients, wherein the total amount of the (meth)acryloyl group is≥1 pt.wt. and≤40 pts.wt., and the total amount of the acetoacetyl group is≥0.01 pt.wt. and≤30 pts.wt. on the basis of the radical-curable resin of 100 pts.wt.
