PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decoloring method which enables not only the quick decoloration of a liquid obtained by treating livestock treatment water, raw water, with a simple plant but also the decontamination of the treatment water to a level enough to recycle it as washing liquid or the like. SOLUTION: The decoloring method for the livestock treatment water comprises a process for adding polyferric sulfate and nonionic or anionic organic coagulant to filtrate obtained by treating the livestock treatment water, the raw water, in a septic tank, agitating and reacting them to separate them into solid and liquid components, and removing the solid component. Preferably, the nonionic or anionic organic coagulant is added after addition of the polyferric sulfate, agitation, and reaction, to perform a two-stage reaction. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
