PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for sewing by a multi-head embroidery sewing machine which does not require much labor by embroidering respective individual patterns at specific positions with respect to respective common pattern just continuously without removing a cloth from an embroidery frame after embroidering a plurality of common patterns simultaneously to the cloth pitched at the embroidery frame utilizing the plurality of heads in the case of additionally sewing the individual patterns of respectively different modes to each of the plurality of common patterns sewn by the multi-head embroidery sewing machine. SOLUTION: After embroidering the plurality of common patterns simultaneously to the cloth 12 pitched at the embroidery frame 10 utilizing the plurality of heads, the individual patterns of respectively different modes can be sewn at fixed positions with respect to the plurality of common patterns continuously without removing the cloth 12 from the embroidery frame 10.
