<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring for stabilizing contact with a lateral side of a groove to reduce a leaking volume of a hermetically-sealed fluid. <P>SOLUTION: In a second sealing surface, over the entire circumference of a groove bottom side in a circular groove, there is provided a roll off which is in no contact with a sidewall surface of an opposite side to a hermetically-sealed fluid flowing side to thereby reduce a contact width of the second sealing surface. In the vicinity of a separate portion 4 (an A region 6) of the second sealing surface, a width of the noncontact portion of the roll off is small and its contact width is large and thereby on the circumference of the second sealing surface, there is provided a plurality of regions (A regions 8) of the large contact width matched to a shape of the vicinity of the separate portion 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
