<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent and a stent graft of which the diameters of end parts can be securely enlarged to a prescribed magnitude while being detained in a tubular organ, and the bent part of a wire can be prevented from floating toward the inner circumferential side. <P>SOLUTION: This stent 200 is formed in a cylindrical shape by knitting one or more wires 210. At least both end parts respectively have at least one circumferential unit constituted by advancing the wire 210 while bending to the left/right along the circumferential direction, and forming a weave and winding a plurality of times when the wire crosses the wire of the previous circumference. This circumferential unit is of a polygonal shape viewing from the axial direction. The bent part 230 of the circumferential unit is formed so as to position at the corner of the polygon. The wire 210 between adjacent bent parts 230 has a straight line shape or a shape bent so as to protrude toward the inner circumferential side from the side of the polygon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
