<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle valve improving throttle response by reducing fluid resistance, simplifying a structure of an intake system to generate a swirl, reducing weight and the number of components, shortening an intake port, and hardly receiving restriction of degree of design freedom of the intake system. <P>SOLUTION: This throttle valve 11 is mounted on throttle shafts 32, 33 orthogonal to an intake passage 13 to regulate intake air amount of an internal combustion engine, and comprises a first throttle valve 37 and a second throttle valve 38 openable/closable separately. The first and second throttle valves 37, 38 form main air passages 61, 62 for flowing air along the intake passage 13 and auxiliary air passages 63, 64 for flowing air approximately orthogonally to the intake passage 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
