<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording medium whose design properties can be enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium 10 is provided with a nearly transparent disk main body 11 having a function layer capable of holding data and a label print layer 12 provided on the side opposite to a light incident surface 11a when viewed from the function layer and the label print layer 12 contains a fluorescent body. Since the nearly transparent disk main body 11 transmits a laser beam emitted when data are recorded and/or reproduced, the fluorescent body contained in the label print layer 12 is irradiated with the laser beam. Thereby, a new design that regions corresponding to a reproduction position and a recording position emit light can be given to the optical recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
