<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide air electrode material powder allowing miniaturization of an air electrode structure for realizing high performance of an air electrode of a solid oxide fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This air electrode material powder is perovskite composite oxide powder expressed by general formula ABO<SB>3</SB>where A comprises one or more kinds of elements selected from a group of La and rare-earth elements and one or more kinds of elements selected from a group of Sr, Ca and Ba, and B comprises one or more kinds of elements selected from a group of Mn, Co, Fe, Ni and Cu.
