<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain continuous operations of a cursor on both the present picture and another picture and to accurately point out an icon area of the latter picture that is not shown at present without depending upon the operational characteristics of operators. <P>SOLUTION: A pad type input part 5 detects two-dimensional position and the magnitude of the depression force at a pressure point on the basis of the pressing force caused by the input from an operator, the detected position and force are applied to an encoding means 14 via a signal amplifier means 13, so that the two-dimensional coordinates of the pressure point and the pressure coordinates based on the pressure force are detected. On the other hand, a domain register means 15 registers respective partitions on each of a plurality of pictures 8 as a domain group 11 of three-dimensional position domains, the position domains are compared with respect to the output of the encoding means 14 by a comparison correspondence means 17, representative positions 12 are assigned to the coincident position domains of the group 11, and an input from the pad type input part 5 is accurately made to correspond to the two-dimensional domain of the plurality of pictures 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
