<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system of providing a transmission link which is suited for streaming data traffic to a mobile terminal connected to a discontinuous service area network. <P>SOLUTION: The method contains a step for arranging a proxy instrument 3 which contains a cache or a buffer means 4 for receiving and storing streaming data for the mobile terminal 1 in the proxy instrument 3, a step which establishes streaming attach or session between the proxy instrument 3 and the mobile terminal 1 when service request from the terminal which requires the streaming data is generated, and a step which transmits the streaming data from the proxy instrument 3 to the mobile terminal 1 when the matter is detected wherein the mobile terminal is in a service area of the discontinuous service area network 2 and/or connected to the network. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
