PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sign and a signboard making characters beautifully visible, even if the sunlight comes to the front and the back. SOLUTION: A surface of a first layer 1 of a surface plate is formed into a projection-recess. The first layer is formed into a deep color, and a second layer 2 is formed into a light color. A surface of the first layer of a reverse surface plate is formed into a projection-recess. The second layer is formed as a semi-transparent magic mirror 7, and a three layer 3 is formed into a deeper color than the first layer.
