PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button lock capable of certainly and easily setting predetermined information by button operation, of improving the operability, of securing and strengthening the protecting ability and safety, and of simplifying the configuration and reducing the size and weight of the button lock for a door by abolishing its gear mechanism. SOLUTION: This button lock has an operation button 14 whose position can be varied in axial direction for setting or inputting predetermined information and also has a memory button 19 which rotates and is displaceable in response to the setting or input of the information by the operation button 14. A first lock control means 36 having a linking groove 39 making the locking and unlocking operations possible during the setting or inputting the information is arranged in a rotatable and unlinking manner with the linking groove 39 in the memory button 19 as well as a secondlock control means 43 arranged in a linking and unlinking manner with the linking groove 39 and linked to any change in an operation handle 60 of the door.
