PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel transporting method for transporting panels produced in the factory to the construction field, and erecting the transported panels in the construction site, wherein the panels are protected from being damaged at the time of transportation and erection, to thereby ensure the quality of the panels. SOLUTION: According to the panel transporting method, a transporting rack 4 which is formed of supports and panel bearing members arranged on the same at predetermined vertical intervals, is provided, and the panels 1 are mounted on the respective panel bearing members. Then, the transporting rack 4 on which the panels 1 are mounted, is transported by a trailer 38 to the construction site where the panels 1 are taken out. In the construction field, an erecting base 50 having a panel rotating stand 63 arranged thereon so as to rotate about a horizontal axis, is prepared, and one end of each taken-out panel 1 is mounted on the panel rotating stand 63, followed by hoisting the other end of the panel 1, to thereby rotate and erect the panel 1 together with the panel rotating stand 63.
