TIN-PLATED AND TIN-FREE STEEL SHEET EXCELLENT IN WORKABILITY, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hard tin-plated and tin-free steel sheets which have excellent workability corresponding to temper grades of T4 to DR9 and to provide an efficient production method, by which the steel sheets can be produced respectively from starting materials having the same compositions. SOLUTION: The hard tin-plated steel sheet of a temper grade of T4 to DR9 is produced from a starting material of the same composition by subjecting an ultralow carbon aluminum-killed steel having C and P contents adjusted to satisfy the relationship: 1.6×C×104+0.93×P×103≥70 to temper rolling or secondary rolling (double reduction rolling) in a reduction ratio varied according to a temper grade.
