PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting stand for a chopping board and a chopping board supporting device where the chopping board can be supported in a stable state without requiring a labor and time and the chopping board is prevented from being moved or vibrated due to pressurizing force or impact during cooking. SOLUTION: The stand has horizontal parts 12 and screen parts 14 extending upward nearly vertically from the horizontal parts. Sheet-like rubber elastic bodies 16 and 18 are attached to the upper surfaces and the lower surfaces of the horizontal parts, and the ends of the chopping board 50 are supported on the rubber elastic bodies 16 attached to the upper surfaces of the horizontal parts.
