PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that special trouble of masking an exhaust vent with an exhaust filter etc. having gas permeability and given a sound proof effect from inside is required for preventing making of uncomfortable noise and direct discharging of exhaust caused by the direct leakage of sound generated from a blower to the outside and for preventing winding up of surrounding dust due to the high speed of exhaust, in a vacuum cleaner with the exhaust vent formed at its wheel part. SOLUTION: The vacuum cleaner is provided with: an air current changing means 38a for changing the direction of an air current by collision of the exhaust air current of the blower with the wheel part 36; and the exhaust vent 38 for discharging the exhaust which collides with the air current changing means 38a to change the direction of the air current.
