PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing device for grains in which the pressure of pressing an agitating body to the grains such as rice to be washed can be changed and the grains to be washed are circulated over the entire container body bottom part. SOLUTION: In an instrument provided with a blind cylindrical container body 1 whose upper surface is opened and the agitating body 2 for agitating the grains such as the rice R put inside the container body 1 together with water W for washing the grains, the agitating body 2 is not fixed to the container body 1, an agitating action part 20 in the agitating body 2 is formed into a bowl shape closely along the inner surface shape of the bowl shape of the container body 1 by using many linear rod-shaped members 21, and the bottom surface center of the agitating body 2 is recessed upwards in the view from the lower part.
