<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of coupling a pipe and an inflator without using a machine equipment for caulking and facilitating manufacturing. <P>SOLUTION: A cylindrical portion 13 is projected out from the inflator 10. A male screw 14 is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical portion 13. An inner hole of the cylindrical portion 13 forms a gas jetting port 11. On an inner peripheral surface on one end side of the pipe 20, a female screw 21 in which the cylindrical portion 13 is screwed is formed. The inflator 10 and the pipe 20 are coupled by screwing the cylindrical portion 13 in the female screw 21. A key projecting portion 33 is projected out from an end surface of the pipe 20, and a key recessed portion 15 with which the key projecting portion 22 engages upon completion of screw fastening for screwing the cylindrical portion 13 into the female screw 21 until the end surface of the pipe 20 fits with a tip end surface of the inflator is provided on the tip end surface of the inflator 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
