<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle which can differentiate every type of vehicle in a simple composition. <P>SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle mounted in a vehicle and equipped with an indicator 10 for indicating a state of the vehicle by employing desired design, is provided with a translucent auxiliary member 20 including an auxiliary design part 21 which is interposed between the indicator and the driver so as to be visible to a drive of the vehicle and which is processed in a shape of auxiliary design corresponding to a type of vehicle for assisting the desired design.
