PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output circuit the electrostatic destruction strength of which can fully be ensured, while reducing its pattern area. SOLUTION: Each output of first and second amplifiers 1, 2 of the output circuit is connected to one output pad P2, and the output circuit is driven by signalsϕ1,ϕ2 from an internal circuit 3. The first amplifier 1 has a drive capability greater than that of the second amplifier 2. A power supply voltage VDD is applied to a high-voltage side power terminal H2 of the second amplifier 2 from a power pad P1 through a first protection resistive element r1, and a ground voltage VSS is applied to a low voltage side power terminal L2 from a ground pad P3 through a second protection resistive element r2. Further, a third protection resistive element r3 is connected between the output of the second amplifier 2 and an output terminal P2. The first to third protection resistive elements r1, r2, r3 are made of metallic wires, and the resistance of the resistive elements is to be selected, preferably to be about 10 ohms.
