PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging module effective for a focal plane shutter for a single lens reflex camera, and having improved light shielding performance, and to provide a camera. SOLUTION: The shutter unit 21 for the imaging module is provided with a front curtain 25a and a rear curtain 25b separately equipped with an electret. Stators 29a and 29b having driving electrodes 28a and 28b and apertures 27a and 27b are disposed on the opposite surface sides of respective electrets 26a and 26b. Besides, an aperture plate 37 having an aperture 38 is arranged on the object side of the stator 29a, further, a protecting member 32 having an aperture 31 is arranged on the object side of the aperture plate 37.
