PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acoustic matching member manufacturing method capable of satisfactorily forming an acoustic matching member whose performance is stable, a molding die to be used in the manufacturing method, and an acoustic matching member manufactured by the manufacturing method. SOLUTION: A porous film 5 in an approximately cylindrical shape is arranged on, and held by, the wall surface 2a of a through hole of a molding die 1 having inside it the through hole 2 and air gap sections 3 united to this through hole 2. The inside of the film 5 held by the molding die 1 is packed with hollow spheres 7, bonding material is supplied to the inside of the film 5 packed with the hollow spheres 7, the bonding material is introduced into the inside of the film 5, by reducing the inside pressure of the molding die 1 through the film 5 from the gap sections 3, and sucking the bonding material in that pressure reduced state, when this bonding material is supplied, and the hollow spheres 7 and the bonding material are hardened to obtain a molding for an acoustic matching member.
