PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comforter easy to fit a sleeper's body when used as a double size comforter for a bed or a high (thick) mattress, and hard to slip, in the comforter obtained by stuffing light wadding such as down. SOLUTION: The comforter demarcates a plurality of small compartments of a lattice form by sewing a surface fabric and a back fabric together with gusset fabrics interposed in the longitudinal direction and transverse direction. In the comforter, the surface fabric has a transverse width 1.1-1.5 times larger than that of the back fabric. Longitudinal gusset fabrics are provided along the longitudinal direction of the comforter between the surface fabric and the back fabric, the symmetrical gusset fabrics on the right and left sides around the longitudinal axes are made to be opened upward in a V shape to form comforter units, and the comforter units are integrated so that at least two units are connected in the transverse direction.
