<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To move separate sound sources in a three-dimensional space created by a stereo sound while the space is held constant. <P>SOLUTION: This sound image fix controller comprises monaural 3D moving processor circuits 9a-9d composed of sound image fix filters for simulating head transfer functions measured at sound image fix positions, a stereo 3D surround processing/monaural 3D moving processing circuit 8 capable of switching over a stereo 3D surround processing function and a monaural 3D moving processing function, RAM 6a-6t bearing the filter coefficient memory and the delay function of an input sound source, a controller 7 enabling operations of the sound image fix filters by a single memory element only, DPRAM 5a, 5b for storing coefficients showing the next fix position sent from a host after the filter operation, and an FIFO controller 4 for loading data in the DPRAM 5a, 5b on the RAM 6a-6t after the filter operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
