<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus and a job management method capable of processing jobs efficiently, while enhancing use-friendliness. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus 100 comprises a means for acquiring sheet type information, a means for deciding whether a job can be outputted on a currently loaded transfer sheet, based on the sheet type information, and a control means. At outputting, the control means notifies a job judged that it can be outputted on a currently loaded transfer sheet by the deciding means, and alters the order of jobs which cannot be outputted on a currently loaded transfer sheet to follow the jobs which can be outputted. When a "confirmation" button is pushed, for example, jobs which can be outputted on a currently loaded transfer sheet are indicated. When a "aggregation" button is pushed, executable jobs are aggregated and the output order is altered to the head, i.e. the order of jobs which can be outputted on a currently loaded transfer sheet is altered, to follow the jobs which can be outputted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
