<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation system by which printing such that switching to the next recording paper is performed at breaks by every copy is more easily executed when a plurality of copies of printed matter in which the number of pages per copy is determined is produced by using a page layout print function and a double-sided print function. <P>SOLUTION: A personal computer acquires the number of pages L which should be laid out on one surface of a medium which a user specifies (S103) and acquires the number of pages K which should be regarded as the breaks by every copy (S105). Then, a counter N is counted up whenever print data for one page is transmitted to the printer (S111, S113), in the case a value of the counter N exceeds the number of break pages K (S115: YES), when the counter N is not multiples of the number of pages L (S121: NO), recording of the head page of the next copy to the same recording paper as the last page of the previous copy is prevented by inserting a blank page (S123). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
