<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform streaming reproduction in response to a reproduction instruction from a user instantaneously. <P>SOLUTION: When there is link information to video and/or voice data, a data receiver/reproducer 203 sets up an RTSP for that data (S12). In the information acquired before completing the setup of RTSP, session data required for reproduction are stored at that time (S13).
