<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile fuel device capable of controlling ventilation from a fuel tank, limiting fueling to the fuel tank, and capable of instantly being adjusted according to environment factor. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel device comprises the fuel tank having at least one opening toward the inside, and an electrically actuated vent valve. An inlet of the vent valve communicates with the inside of the fuel tank, and fuel vapor is ventilated from the fuel tank through an outlet of the valve. The vent valve moves between an opened position permitting that the fuel vapor flows from the inside of the fuel tank through the outlet, and a closed position preventing the fuel vapor from flowing through the outlet, according to an electric signal. A controller operationally communicates with the vent valve, controls application of the electric signal to the vent valve, and at least partially controls the movement of the vent valve. In an embodiment, the controller controls opening/closing of the vent valve according to a fueling level of the fuel tank, thereby controlling the fueling level in the fuel tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
