<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document processing apparatus, a document processing method, and a document processing program that allows easily understanding the reasons why changes are made to an electronic document, even if there exist a plurality of changes to the electronic document. <P>SOLUTION: In order for an attaching part 51A of a client device 50 to attach comments about some of the changes to the content of the electronic document to be processed to the electronic document using a note annotation, information about the note annotation attached by the user is registered in a secondary storage part 25 of an annotation management server 20.
