PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disengagement preventing device for an expansion joint part, allowing easy assembly of a fixing device without the need for forming an opening portion in a socket cylindrical body for storing the fixing device which fixes the socket cylindrical body to an insert cylindrical body, and allowing the setting of an additional fixing device at a selective angle position, as necessary. SOLUTION: A C-shaped anti-come-off stopper ring 6 is provided on the inner periphery near the socket-side end of the socket cylindrical body 2, and the detachable fixing device is mounted on the outer periphery of the insert cylindrical body 4 near the socket-side end of the socket cylindrical body 2 for fixture at a selective angle position. The fixing device has an insert cylinder side engaging portion 14 engageable with the outer periphery of the insert cylindrical body 4 and a socket cylinder side engaging portion 12 engageable with the inner periphery of the C-shaped anti-come-off stopper ring 6.
