PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide pin hard to break or deform when outer force works thereon. SOLUTION: The positioning guide pin 10 is used in installing a heavy load. It comprises a core body 14 having bolts to be implanted in predetermined positions on an installation plane and a cover body 12 for covering the core body 14. The cover body 12 has a head portion 12a in a truncated cone shape and a shell portion 12b integrally connected to the core body 14. A cavity is provided between the core body 14 and the inner peripheral face of the cover body shell portion 12b. In installation, the cover body 12 is deflected to prevent the concentration of stress when force is given from the heavy load to the peripheral face of the pin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
