PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic actuator capable of generating large attraction force by improving the magnetic permeability of a gap part. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic actuator is provided with a ring core member with an annular groove, an annular exciting coil housed in the annular groove of the core member, and a ring armature member opposedly disposed with a prescribed gap to the face in which the annular groove of the core member is formed.
