PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a period from engine start until regular fuel injection control is performed by an ECU as much as possible, in an engine started by external force such as a kick. SOLUTION: This fuel injection control method includes: a stage for starting an engine control program after power supply voltage rising by power supply from a power generator connected with the engine reaches a predetermined voltage level; a stage for executing initial fuel injection of the engine based on each of detected values of various types of sensors related to fuel injection control of the engine; a stage for reading data for engine control stored in a memory means beforehand, followed by execution of the initial fuel injection control; and a stage for performing engine control including subsequent fuel injection control based on each of the detected values of the various types of sensors and the data for control.
