PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of purifying a (meth)acrylic ester which not only increases productivity but also provides a high purity (meth)acrylic ester by shortening the time necessary for purifying the (meth)acrylic ester from which impurities have been removed with the use of an adsorbent by a filter. SOLUTION: The method of purifying a (meth)acrylic ester purifies the (meth)acrylic ester obtained by the esterification reaction between (meth)acrylic and an alcohol or the transesterification reaction between a (meth)acrylic ester and an alcohol and comprises distilling the crude (meth)acrylic ester obtained by the esterification reaction or the transesterification reaction, and thereafter providing adsorption treatment by an adsorbent for the (meth)acrylic ester.
