PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace a defective rolling-contact bearing or any other component in substantially less time. SOLUTION: In this invention, this escalator has a truss 4, a shaft 5, a shaft-bearing 7 to hold the shaft 5 in the truss 4. The shaft-bearing 7 is constituted of a hub 8 and a socket 9.
