The cooling fan consists of a frame (21) and an impeller (22), whereby the frame supports a hub seat (215) and on the inner side has a number of air guiding elements (212) which serve for the altering of the radial air pressure and are connected to an air guide ring (213) which has a first and a second opening (2132). The first opening is larger than the second so that the air is concentrated on the center of the frame behind the hub seat. The hub seat is connected to the air guide ring by at least one rib (214).
