PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method capable of easily manufacturing a metal porous body in which the pore diameter is gradually increased from one surface to the other surface.
SOLUTION: This has a heat holding process wherein a green compact in which metal particles and particles from which pores derive formed from a thermoplastic resin are uniformly dispersed is heated and held at a temperature of melting point or more of the thermoplastic resin, melt drops which are fused by the particles from which pores derive are made to be floated from in between the metal particles 12, the melt drops and other melt drops are made to be fusion-integrated in floating-up of some melt drops, and a melt drop metal particle composite 11A is formed in which the melt drops 13A of which the average diameter gradually increases are made to be distributed in the floating-up direction of the melt drops, a decomposition removing process in which the melt drops 13A are decomposed and removed by heating the melt drop metal particle composite 11A at a temperature over the melting point of the thermoplastic resin, and in which skeleton part of the three-dimensional network is formed by the metal particles 12, and a sintering process in which a metal skeleton is formed by sintering the skeleton part.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
