摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic bearing device capable of solving a problem caused by disability of calibration of normal displacement sensor. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing device comprises a rotating body 4, magnetic bearings 5, 6, 7 supporting the rotating body 4 in a non-contact state by magnetic attraction force of electromagnets 26, 27, 28, the displacement sensors 23, 29, 30 for detecting the displacement of the rotating body 4, an electric motor 9 for rotating the rotating body 4, a rotation sensor 10 for detecting the rotational frequency of the rotating body, protection bearings 11, 12 for touch-down, and a control means for controlling the electromagnets 26, 27, 28 of the magnetic bearings 5, 6, 7 on the basis of the outputs of the displacement sensors 23, 29, 30 and controlling the electric motor 9 on the basis of the output of the rotation sensor 10. The control means discriminates the presence or absence of the rotation of the rotating body 4 on the basis of the output of the rotation sensor 10 in starting the magnetic bearings 5, 6, 7, and the calibration of the displacement sensors 23, 29, 30 is not performed when the rotating body 4 is rotated, and is performed when the rotating body 4 is not rotated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p>
