PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method which can improve the quality of a polymer film obtained in the casting method using a film which consists of an organic resin as a support. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of a polymer film comprises the process which forms a film coating containing a polymer compound on a support by applying a solution containing the polymer compound on the support and the process which obtains a film containing the above polymer compound by drying the film coating on the above support, wherein the above support comprises the organic resin film in which the average center line roughness Ra is 0.1-1 nm, the modulus of elongations in both longitudinal and width directions is at least 3.0 GPa respectively, and the thickness is 3-300μm.
