PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic relief valve capable of being used as a relief valve of high flow rate usable in a pressure accumulation-type hydraulic driving system or the like. SOLUTION: This hydraulic relief valve comprises a main valve having a hydraulic source-side port and a relief-side port respectively communicating with a hydraulic source P and a relief side T, and communicating with each other through a valve flow channel, and having a valve element 7 for closing the valve flow channel by receiving the control fluid pressure P0 and opening the valve flow channel on the basis of the reduction in receiving the control fluid pressure, a sub-valve B receiving the fluid pressure and adjustment fluid pressure P1 from the hydraulic source P and performs hydraulic source-pressure overrun operation when the fluid pressure from the hydraulic source P is over the adjustment fluid pressure P1, and decompressing means 65, 68, 60b, 60c for opening the valve flow channel (P→T) by reducing the reception of control fluid pressure P0 in the main valve A in accompany with the hydraulic source-pressure overrun operation of the sub-valve.
