PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion tube which achieves excellent durability by keeping the flexible tube disposed being inserted through the bending part from not only being buckled under its bending but also being squeezed under the pressure with the other members built therein when the bending part is operated to bend. SOLUTION: A spiral groove 19 is formed on the external surface of the flexible tube 17 to dispose a reinforced coil 20 for preventing the buckling along the bottom part of the spiral groove 19 while a spiral pipe 18 for preventing the squeezing formed with a metal strip wound spirally with a fixed diameter is so arranged as to cover both of the outer circumferential surface of the reinforced coil 20 for preventing the buckling and that of the flexible tube 17 with a clearance given in its diametrical direction.
