PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slim and convenient hand dryer. SOLUTION: The hand dryer 1 comprises a body casing 2 with electric blowers 13f and 13r built in under a drying chamber 4, the drying chamber 4 formed inside the body casing 2 with an opening 3 on the upper surface of the body casing 2, and a plurality of nozzles arrayed in a line at regular intervals in the horizontal direction on a front side wall body 10f and a back side wall body 10r for blowing air currents fed from the electric blowers 13f and 13r into the drying chamber 4. Branched air passages 14a and 14b constituting part of an air passage 14 on the front wall body 10f side are disposed on sides of sensor transmission parts 12a1, 12a2 and 12a3, and branched air passages constituting part of the air passage on the back side wall body 10r side are arranged on the left and right sides of the sensor receiving part 12b.
