<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a skin allergy suppressing composition having excellent inhibitory effect on metal allergy and pine resin allergy and no fear of adverse effect even by long-term internal use and being highly safe. <P>SOLUTION: This skin allergy suppressing composition for metals and pine resin comprises bacteria separated from animal intestines or a fermented food as an active ingredient . The bacteria are preferably gram-positive bacteria to form lactic acid and acetic acid, more preferably bacteria belonging to the genus Enterococcus, Bifidobacterium, Lactobacillus, Streptococcus or Lactococcus, and most preferably Enterococcus faecalis. Preferably, the bacteria are live bacterial cells or dead bacterial cells.
