<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal printer apparatus in which the transfer movement of papers becomes smooth without being interrupted. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal printer apparatus is equipped with a thermal head 27 movable up and down, a lift motor 30 which moves the thermal head up and down, and a paper detection sensor S1 arranged at the upstream side of the thermal head 27. When a tip of the paper 60 which passes a paper transfer path 22 is detected by the paper detection sensor S1, a descent of the thermal head 27 is started after the paper is transferred by only L1 afterwards. When the tip of the paper 60 reaches a recording position P, a head heating part of the thermal head 27 alike contacts the tip of the paper 60 at the recording position P at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
