PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element wherein only light of a narrow angle range is incident into a photo-detecting sensor. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging element 1 is configured, wherein a waveguide 16 is formed inside an insulating layer 8 on a photo-detecting sensor 3, and an anti-reflection layer 17 is formed along the outer periphery of the waveguide 16.
