PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device, in which a flat panel display body and a stand side speaker are electrically connected without fail, in the flat panel display device which is comprised of the flat panel display body and a stand for placing and supporting this flat panel display body thereon, and in which a speaker is integrated into the stand. SOLUTION: A connection section for electrically connecting a flat panel display body and a speaker is provided between the flat panel display body and the stand. In this connecting section, a connector 25 on the side of the flat panel display body and a connector 26 on the side of the stand are fitted and connected with each other in the state of placing the flat panel display body on the stand, and any one side 26 of the connectors is fitted to be pressed to the other 25 at all the time by an elastic member 38.
