摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display panel having a reflection layer which restricts generation of an impurity gas and prevents a discharge starting voltage from rising. SOLUTION: It is considered that a pack density of white pigment powder becomes small and an amount of adsorption of the impurity gas becomes small when a BET specific surface area of the white pigment powder is smaller than a certain value. Therefore, if the reflection layer is formed of the white pigment powder having the BET specific surface area of 6 m2/g or less, the generation of the impurity gas is restricted and the discharge starting voltage is not allowed to rise.
