PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superior stereoscopic image display method and element which are free from variation in stereoscopic effect even a long period later. SOLUTION: The stereoscopic image display method which has: a very small light source array; an image for stereoscopic image display; and observation light, is characterized in that the image for stereoscopic image display is made of color materials containing pigments or pigment precursors and the observation light is a light source (A) which is a white light source having <0.2 light emission intensity at 365 nm when light intensity at 620 nm is 1.
