PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus having a fixing device which prevents deterioration of fixing quality even in high speed image formation by stabilizing surface temperature of a fixing belt. SOLUTION: In the fixing device constituted of the fixing belt, a driving roller, a driven roller and a pressure member which is a guide of the belt, a cleaning device which removes abrasion powder adhered to the rear surface of the fixing belt and the surface of the driving roller and the driven roller is provided.
