PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera mount having a satisfactory assemblability and appearance even in the case where the number of mount fastening means is increased in order to enhance the strength of the camera mount. SOLUTION: A camera includes: the camera mount 1 which engages with the mount of a photographic lens, not shown, and locks the lens into a camera main body so that it is freely detached; a camera-side positioning index 2 disposed on an armor part of the lens barrel of the photographic lens and on a mount face, and used when the photographic lens is fastened to the camera mount 1; the mount fastening screw 4 disposed in a position relative to a photographic lens positioning index when the photographic lens is initially fastened to the camera mount 1, and covered with the camera-side positioning index 2 having a color excellent in visibility on the mount face and joined so as to cover the mount fastening screw 4; and the other mount fastening screws 4 used for fastening the camera mount 1 to the camera main body.
